Blessings

After a long and tiring weekend, I thought I'd take a few moments to reflect on the blessings that God has been able to give to Jim and myself.

Kaeli, David, and Jonathan spent the night on Sunday into Monday morning - although the store and Lone Star (!) was a little challenging, we managed to have a fun time and I love curling up with them on the couch picking a movie or baking cookies - they also helped get ready for the party on Memorial Day!

To Joanna and Eduardo: Thank you for assisting us in the process of getting our first home and for making the entire experience memorable and smooth.

To David, Jason, Erik, Drew, Ken, Todd, Dad: Thank you for helping us move and prepare for our new home - even though some things presented challenges (two ton armoire and awkward sleeper sofa).

To Mom, Aunt Lois, Marisa, Jessica: Thank you for your decorating tips, insight, cleaning and organization ability. The place certainly would not have come together without any of you.

We had the opportunity to thank all of these people through a BBQ yesterday (our first annual...). Jim fired up the grill (it actually worked apart from a few singed hairs) and the food was fantastic. The menu was truly a great spread. (Todd, Erik, and Drew - we have an IOU for you guys).

While we take memorial day to remember those that have given their lives for this great country, Jim and I took the opportunity to thank those who have given time and love to support us. Thank you.
