God is good.

A friend spoke with me the other day and ended the conversation with God is good.

I realize this season how truly awesome and great God is.

Please bless and keep me in this time, to know that you planned my life out far before my parents even knew I was there. You know each and every thing about me, my past, present and future. May this next year be one of health and happiness for my family and friends. thank you. i can't stop saying it. thank you. Amen.

When I realize how truely God is Good, I then in return realize how blessed I am. I love when God just shows up so strong and real in our lives and leaves us speachless....and all we can say again with our whole hearts, "God is so good, he is so good to me"

I love feeling connected and happy with the world, and I'm glad you're feeling blessed! This really is the best time of year, isn't it?

I have a question! I hope it doesn't put a damper on your good mood, but maybe you have an answer for my question. If God knows your future, then doesn't that mean it's set? And doesn't that mean you don't really have free choice in the world, because your future is already completely laid out before you? In which case, if your future is already known, what's the point in going through with it (to you or to God?). Isn't it merely acting out the rest of a play that is scripted?

I believe that all of our choices can lead us down any given path. That's where free will comes in... However I also believe that God is all knowing. So ultimately he knows what decisions we are going to make... but WE don't until we are presented with each obstacle.
I know it sounds confusing, I am sure that all Christians have played that one over in their head a couple dozen times... kinda like what came first the chicken or the egg?
The truth is, we don't know every detail of God's plan, but life can be so liberating when you put your trust in him. God Bless you whirledpeas!
