I have always been interested in discussing the news. I thought I’d start by listing a few news pieces and then allowing comments on whatever issue strikes your fancy. If it seems popular, I’ll push it into its own blog for further discussion.
1. Pregnant Man. If you need more information, check the internet – although it basically speaks for itself.
2. Yesterday in the Sun-Times, I read that a man (about ten years ago) received a heart transplant from someone who had killed himself. About five years ago, that man married the heart donor’s widow! Most recently, this man (the donee) killed himself in his backyard. Eerie!
3. Anything and everything having to do with the polygamy compound.
4. Any and everything about the upcoming 2008 election: ranging from candidates to issues to favorites.
Let’s go to town people. I want to hear about your thoughts on these issues.

I have been a bit out of the loop... my mom NEVER turns the tv on... this morning while eating an English Muffin I thought I'd turn on the news.. (Usually I am an addict) the couple minutes I watched was about that whole polygamy compound thing YIKES! A few months ago or last year they interviewed a girl who grew up in that setting. It's totally screwed up and she literally had to escape and change her name and everything. But if you're raised there you are brainwashed and taught that that is the norm. Very wierd... also it seems like the men are very controlling and try to keep you in the dark. That's what I gathered... I think there should be laws against this sort of thing.
