Time for a change...

Throughout my entire life, I’ve always gone back and forth with my hair. I’ve had it almost every color of the rainbow – dyed, highlighted, lowlighted. I have had it long, chopped it off, got the expensive cut, got a trim, had bangs, no banged it, worn it up, worn it down and these changes seem to come at times in my life when I am just itching for something different.

When my hair begins to get longer and I can finally do something with it, I usually do nothing with it except throw it up into a ponytail or jumbled bun mess. My thoughts are: if I’m not going to bother to do anything with it, why do I have it long? And then I go through this personal debate about what to do with my hair.

I want some advice. I’m nearing that point where my hair’s growing out...any suggestions? Should I take the plunge and chop it? What do you suggest?

Take the PLUNGE AND CHOP IT! I have also went through the cutting and letting it grow out. The side bangs and then growing them back out. I also did the same thing. When I had long hair I would either have it always down, some up and some down or in a pony tale. I finally CUT IT OFF AGAIN just a few months ago. I LOVE IT short and don't want to change that anytime soon.

BE RISKY AND CHOP IT CHOP IT CHOP IT! lol

I used to have shoulder length hair and longer, until I found myself putting it in a ponytail everyday for probably over a year. So, what is the point? I went short, and have never regretted it. Having short hair actually forces me to do something with it. I think short is distinguishing. I think you'd look great in a slanted bob....then we could be twins! :)

Short would be cute! And it's the perfect time of year... get it off your neck before the summer! I can't wait to see what you pick!

It looks like everyone's rooting for you to cut your hair!

Sam, I'm the same way. I always grow my hair out, and then I get bored and chop it short-short. Then I grow it out again.

My hair was cut super short a few months ago, but now I'm back to growing it out.

I don't think there's anything wrong with always doing something different. It's better than being one of those people who've never had a hair cut and get emotionally attached to their hair and cry when something goes wrong with it. Am I right? Ha!

So do what you want! You can always cut it later. You can always grow it longer. You can get it cut super short, and if you don't like it, you can grow it again. Just have fun!

I have a friend who sometimes goes to a beauty school and gets her hair straightened. It's not permanent, but it looks sleek and shiny. You could do something like that, too!

P.S. You'll have to post a picture with whatever you do with you hair!
