Grilleration.

Last week, Jim busted out our grill. Although it is on its last legs, the grill serves an awesome purpose.

Here's what we've grilled so far:

Corn on the Cob
Chicken Breasts
Mesquite chicken with cheddar cheese and smoked turkey bacon (on the grill)
Homemade Sirloin Turkey Burgers
Homemade Hamburgers
Bacon

Any suggestions for widening our grilling capabilities?

mmmm. Grilling. Me smell meat!
One of my favs:
Slice up a couple of potatoes, onions and garlic (I prefer them thin). Bust out the tin foil and lay a long sheet of it on the counter. Rub some olive oil on half of it and layer the potatoes, onions and garlic on that half. I like to use a bit of seasoned salt on the potatoes. Fill up that half of the tin foil with your goodies and scatter some pats of butter on top (doesn't have to be much). Tear off the tin foil and crimp the edges together with the full half(make sure they are tight). Set on grill for 10-15 minutes and then flip and grill for 10-15 minutes. Take off and enjoy. Yummy!

I wish I was better at grilling. I stick to the basics..chicken, burgers, or hot dogs. Do you grill the corn with the husks on? I always wanted to grill kabobs.

we do potatoes cut up in circles with butter, salt, pepper, wrapped in aluminum foil...and then you grill it. It's really good! Do you ever watch Foodnetwork....Boy meets grill...should be some ideas on there.

Ooh! And a really easy way to clean the grill is to take a sheet of tin foil (I love the stuff) and after allowing the grill to heat up really hot, place it shiny side down on the rack. Let it go for about 10 minutes with the cover on. Then remove the foil and lighlty brush the rack. All the gunk just flakes away.

Portabello mushroom burgers! You just grill the caps, and voila! You can marinate them first, if you want, in something like Italian dressing or wahtever. They're tasty.

Or how about kabobs?
